Olivier Jutel is a lecturer at the University of Otago where he teaches communication and digital media. Prior to this, he worked as a broadcast journalism lecturer at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. His work on blockchain has been shaped by this time in the Pacific where he followed the role of the US State dept in the emergence of Techno-Solutionism in the NGO space.
