Aditi Pillai is an Associate - Research and Policy Engagement at IT for Change, specializing in feminist approaches to AI development, governance, and policy across South and Southeast Asia and the broader Global Majority. She holds an MSc with distinction in Data and Artificial Intelligence Ethics from the University of Edinburgh. With a background in qualitative and empirical research methodologies, her research sits at the intersection of algorithmic ethics, data governance and justice, tech-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), platform governance, and the rights of marginalized groups with respect to Digital Public Infrastructures.
