Avantika Tewari

Avantika Tewari holds an M.Phil from the Centre for Comparative Politics and Political Theory, Jawaharlal Nehru University, with a Dissertation titled, 'Shifting Sand Dunes of Sovereignty: Women’s Hostel as a Threshold of the Political'. She completed her postgraduate studies from the University of Delhi. She worked as a consultant on a multi-city project, 'An Exploratory Study of Discrimination Based on Non-Normative Genders and Sexualities' based out of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. It involved a study of urban housing with a focus on gender and sexuality. Avantika writes on intersections of law, political economy, sexuality, and technology. She is currently fascinated by the political debates on techno-feudalism, market singularity, post-work, social reproduction, and immaterial labor.
